If you need to connect your alarm system to a telephone network but do not have a landline, then this unit uses the mobile phone network to allow voice calls.

Only a sim card is required, with sufficient credit (not included).

Your alarm system must have an outgoing RJ11 telephone connection (e.g. control dialers on our SK or SA range). This unit is not an actual 'dialler', your alarm control panel must dial the number. This terminal will then connect the call via the mobile phone network rather than via landline.

As an alternative, a normal telephone could be connected to the GSM Terminals RJ11 socket to make phone calls via the mobile network.
